Hi Trish,
Just wanted to give you an update on how Violet is going.
I think we have had Violet for roughly 12 weeks and it is like she has been part of our family her entire life. I was amazed at how quickly she settled in. She healed very quickly from her desexing and when we last had her weighed she was a very healthy 27.5kg!
We had her put through the Greyhound Adoption Program where she spent a week in Seymour to be put through several tests to see if she was suitable to be in public without a muzzle on, and we are very proud to say she passed with flying colours!
We are now in the process of enrolling her into obedience training so we can communicate with her more easily, and I'm sure she is going to love it!
I have attached some photos of her doing what she is best at... sleeping and lounging on the couch with her little big brother Logan. He is not happy about sharing his lounge but they do get along most of the time. And as you can see from one of the photos you cant wipe the smile off Violets face, and who would want to.
Thank you all again for bringing Violet into our family and for all the awesome work you do for those very needy cats and dogs.
Thank you again
Wendy & Nick

Webmaster’s note:
Violet was found wandering the streets in emaciated condition and
was being attacked by other dogs. As you can see she has made a great recovery and
is living in the lap of luxury!
