Our Supporters
Albury Dog Rescue are always in need of funds. There are many ongoing costs involved in rescuing the many dogs, puppies, cats and sometimes other animals that come into our care.
Some of these dogs and puppies are in terrible condition and need at the very least, vaccinations, desexing, grooming and clipping, good quality food and general health care. Others are in need of more intensive veterinary care. Although Dr Jana, MARS and other sponsors are very generous with discount and support, we still have many ongoing veterinary, food and other expenses.
Albury Dog Rescue is always looking for new volunteers and there are many, many ways in which people can help us.
Sponsorship
Sponsoring a dog or puppy of your choice is an easy way to help Albury Dog Rescue. We suggest $30 a month, but any amount is appreciated. For your sponsorship you get your name or company logo (if desired) along with a red heart next to your dog's name. When your dog is adopted, your sponsorship will be transferred to another dog or puppy.
Check out our hit counter and you'll see that sponsorship is a great way to advertise too.
Transport of rescue dogs
Albury Dog Rescue and other pounds and rescue groups in the district cooperate to find the best homes possible for rescue dogs and puppies. Hence there is an ongoing need for dogs and puppies to be transported between these areas. Most often it’s bringing rescue dogs or puppies from places like Griffith, Wagga Wagga, Hay and Finley or even further afield to Albury. If you are making regular trips around this district or just a once-off, please give us a call and offer a space in your vehicle for a rescue dog or puppy.
Gift cards
One of our wonderful supporters creates and sells lovely gift cards and bookmarks at local markets. If you see Julia at her stall please support us by buying some cards or a bookmark. You can contact Julie at: julia@alburydogrescue.org.au
Foster carers
Obviously our foster carers are an integral part of the work we do. They provide a loving home environment for our pound pups in which we can assess their suitability for various homes. If you have some space in your household and your heart we would love to hear from you. Go to our Fostering info page> for more information.
Donations of food and items
Donations are also an integral part of how we continue the work that we do. From donations of blankets and bedding, collars, leads & food bowls through to dog food we appreciate every bit of assistance we get.
Online Donations
We now offer the ability to make online donations to Albury Dog Rescue using PayPal secured by VeriSign. By clicking on the "Donate" button you will be taken to a PayPal page where you can make an online donation using your credit card. Albury Dog Rescue is then notified of your donation.
PayPal Security and Privacy
Is PayPal safe to use?
PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.
Donations made using this PayPal facility are deposited directly into an Albury Dog Rescue PayPal account and are then withdrawn into our local bank account.
