I just wanted to let you that Skye has settled in beautifully and is loving her new home. She had a slight hiccup when she developed an infection after her de-sexing and was not happy when Dr Jana pulled off the dressing!
She is remembering to not jump up most of the time but sometimes forgets herself. She is quite hilarious as you can almost read her mind as she starts to jump then collects herself and ends up sitting in a begging position – (not easy for a dog her size) and she starts to fall over backwards and very gently will hook her paws over your arm to steady herself.
She is remembering the manners she has been taught and enjoying her walks. She is a beautiful girl very smart, willing to learn and please and very quiet – our neighbours didn’t even know she was there as she doesn’t have much to say unless it is very important.
Thank her for the work you (and anyone who fostered Skye) for their efforts in teaching her such good manners. She is a very much loved member of the family.
