Gizmo’s page
Notes:
Gizmo seems to have settled down a lot. He is inclined to like to be around people more then other dogs, this does not mean he does not like other dogs' company because he loves it.
He seems to be at ease around people and loves all the cuddles you give him. When his foster carer sits outside with them he just loves being near them and tries to sit on your lap any chance he gets.
He will lay with you and wait for the pats and cuddles that you can not resist giving him. He has settled down with trying to get food that doesn't belong to him, he has much better manners now.
His recall is great and he loves going to the park for a good run around with the other dogs. He is learning to stay at the moment and training works very good with treats for rewarding his obedience and good behaviour.
He is great with sitting before he is allowed to eat and before taking treats. He will wait outside until he is told that he can come in and does not run of when the gate is open.
He loves kids but is not keen on playing with water.
Gizmo will fit in any family situation as long as they will give him the attention and stimulation that he needs and deserves, although company of another dog would be great, because he is used to be around other dogs and might get a bit lonely.
He is growing up into a loveable, friendly and amazing dog.
