My family had a tragic accident in December 2009, our dog, Daisy of 15 years passed away and we were devastated. Deciding that we needed another dog to brighten our days, Dad did some research and found Albury Dog Rescue.
On December 23rd 2009 we picked up 'Fuzz' from the vets just after her desexing operation. Fuzz immediately connected with our family, when Mum met her at Rachel's home, she was sitting quietly in the corner, and when she picked Fuzz up she immediately snuggled into her shoulder. Mum instantly knew that she was ours.
Fuzz has now been with us six months, and we love her more than ever! She is a happy, ball loving, energetic pup. Almost everybody who meets Fuzz comments on how she looks, and that she resembles a teddy bear. She has a great personality which is constantly amusing us. Wesley, our cat has never been an overly friendly animal, but him and Fuzz get on so well. They play all the time and Fuzz enjoys to occasionally clean his fur and ears.
She is great dog to take for walks, runs or bike rides, swims in the river or puddles and car rides. Although Dad is adamant that she is an outside dog, I have now trained her to sleep on the end of my bed. She is also a great dog to bath, as long as the water is about a foot deep and there is a ball bobbing, she is happy!
The Rich family from Corowa, would like to thank everyone at Albury Dog Rescue for delivering us with this amazing animal. We have attached some photos ranging from when we first got her to now. (The reason she is looking directly at the camera is because we are holding a ball above the lense!)
Thankyou!
