Young Dogs - small to medium sized

Love of life

Most of our young adult dogs are from the pound - unclaimed dogs that would have been put to sleep. We also have some adult dogs surrendered to us for honest reasons.

Sadly they are just young dogs who have ended up in the pound. These dogs just needed some training and time spent with them to turn them into fine dogs.

Other groups are the ‘designer dogs’ and small fluffy dogs. Designer dogs often come from puppy farms and do not grow into the dog that the purchaser expected! Small fluffy dogs need regular, sometimes daily grooming plus six weekly clipping. Often these dogs come to us in a shocking state and need extensive grooming before we can rehome them.

They looked very cute in the pet shop but after a few months the reality of owning a long haired active little dog is not so cute.

Dog ownership is a long-term commitment, not a fashion fad.
